Favorite Apps

Hi everyone! Today I am going to write about a few of my favorite apps. I have an iPhone so every app I mention is available on there. I am sure you can get them on android too!

The first two apps I am going to talk about go hand in hand. Facebook and Instagram are two of my most used apps. I use both apps to communicate with friends and also to post about my blog and gain followers. It is great how much you can do using Facebook and Instagram!

The next app I use on the regular is Cooking Fever. I play this game every day! It is super addicting and tons of fun. Cooking Fever is a game where you play different levels in different restaurants by serving different customers. You also use coins and diamonds to buy cooking tools and restaurant furniture. This is currently my favorite game right now, and I highly recommend it!

The last app I am going to talk about is Pinterest. I am obsessed with Pinterest! In fact most of the crafts I do with the kids I babysit come from there. Not only do I pin crafts for the kids, but I also have boards dedicated to fitness, cooking, school, reading, movies, and clothes! Pinterest has everything on it, and is my go to source when I need to find out how to find something for babysitting or my own personal life. I can spend hours on Pinterest!

These are just a few of my favorite apps. What are your favorites? Let me know in the comments below!

Favorite Supplement Brand

Hi everyone! Today I am going to tell you about my favorite supplement brand, olly. I buy mine from Target for $13.99! Olly offers multiple supplements, but I have only tried four so far.

The first supplement I tried was purely probiotic. With a flavor of tropical mango it tastes amazing! The probiotics contain bacillus coagulans. This is a must buy item!

The second supplement I bought was goodbye stress with the taste of berry verbena. The ingredients are gaba, L-theanine, and lemon balm. The gaba is what promotes relaxation by boosting your brain waves. L-theanine helps you keep calm by supporting the alpha waves in your brain. The last ingredient, lemon balm helps quiet the the mind. This really works, and is worth every penny.

The third product is restful sleep, and tastes like blackberry Zen. The ingredients in restful sleep are; melatonin, L-theanine, and different botanicals. The melatonin helps promote a healthy sleep cycle. The L-theanine is an amino acid that promotes calmness. The botanicals in this are; chamomile, passion flower, and lemon balm. This helps you soothe yourself and relax! I always have this product on hand!

The last product I bought was the perfect women’s multi vitamin. There are multiple flavors in this container. You will taste blackberry, raspberry, and blueberry acai. This multi vitamin is full of vitamin d3, vitamin e, vitamin b6, vitamin b12, folic acid, and biotin. I just started taking this, but I am loving it!

The olly products are amazing, and I highly recommend them. Have you tried any of the olly products? Let me know in the comments below!

Quip Toothbrush

Hey everyone! Today for Friday Favorites I want to talk about my new favorite toothbrush. I bought it a few weeks ago, and I am seeing my teeth whiter!

I originally heard about Quip from listening to a podcast. I did not initially want to buy toothbrush but figured I would give it a try. For those of you who do not know, Quip is a timed electric toothbrush. It makes sure that you are brushing your teeth for the full two minutes that are recommended. The toothbrush will vibrate for 30 seconds then will change the vibration pattern so that you know to move to a new section of your mouth. Quip also will send you a refill head for your toothbrush every three months!  I absolutely love this toothbrush!

The toothbrush comes in two different materials. They have the plastic handle, which is what I have.  The plastic toothbrush comes in either blue or green.  The next material is the metal material, and this comes in gold, copper, slate, and silver.  When buying the toothbrush there are two different starter sets. There is the electric set which comes with the toothbrush, a travel cover mount, large toothpaste, and small toothpaste. Three months later you will get a new brush head, large toothpaste, small toothpaste, and a triple a battery. This will cost you 25 dollars up front and 10 dollars every three months after.  If you choose to get the metal toothbrush it will be 40 dollars up front and 10 dollars every 3 months after.  If you get the electric brush by itself you will get the toothbrush and travel cover mount. Three months after that you will receive a new brush head and a triple a battery.  If you choose this option in plastic you will pay 30 dollars up front and five dollars every three months after.  If you choose the metal option you will pay 45 dollars up front and five dollars every three months after. I got the electric set for 25 dollars a month and 10 dollars every three months after. However, if you decide that you want to use my code you will get a refill credit of 5 dollars! This means you will get your first refill head for FREE! I will attach my code at the bottom for you to use.

I really do love this toothbrush! It really cleans my teeth and I am seeing my smile getting whiter! I highly recommend it to everyone. As I said earlier I was not so sure I would like this toothbrush, but I was pleasantly surprised when I did.  It is the only toothbrush I will use now. You are definitely getting your money’s worth!  Have you heard of quip before? Let me know in the comments below!

Update On Other Posts

Hey everybody! Today for Silly Saturday I thought I would do a quick update on things I mentioned in other posts. I said I would get back to you all about the Ben and Ashely I podcast and about Thanksgiving Day treat ideas!

On Tuesday I shared a couple treat ideas for Thanksgiving, and told you I would make them and post them on Instagram. Long story short I did not make the treats I mentioned. While I stand by my statement of them being super easy to make and it honestly would not have taken that long to do I decided not to make them. I would however love to know if any of you made them or about what treats you made for Thanksgiving!

For Friday Favorites I posted about my favorite podcasts and told you that I had just began listening to Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast. I finished the episode I was listening to today plus two more after that! When I opened the app today I saw that I had only had six minutes left in last night’s episode. I can honestly say I love this podcast. It was so easy to get into! I found myself driving around just so I could finish each episode. It is definitely worth listening to!

Today’s post was short, but I did want to do an update on everything! Have you guys listened to any of the podcasts I mentioned? Have you made any of the Thanksgiving treats? Let me know in the comments below!

Favorite Podcasts

Hi everyone! I am going to be sharing a few of my favorite podcasts with you. I just recently got into listening to podcasts and I am obsessed! I use the podcast app on my iPhone. I am subscribed to quite a few podcasts, but I do listen to the same few every week, so I do not miss out on an episode.

The podcast that kicked off this obsession is The Jep and Jess Show. The hosts Jep and Jess are from A&E’s Duck Dynasty and their spin off show, Jep and Jess: Growing the Dynasty. Every Wednesday Jep and Jess have a different guest on their show. They talk about their family and what is going on in their life now that their shows are over. The podcast is so much fun to listen to! Each week they do a little game they call Silly or Annoying where they go around and talk about what the other person does that they think is either silly or annoying. I love listening to this podcast each week, especially when I am hiking or running. It helps keep me distracted so I am not thinking about what I am doing! I highly recommend this podcast!

The second podcast I want to talk about is Scrubbing in with Becca Tilley. Becca Tilley was one of the contestants on Chris Soules season and again on Ben Higgins season. With that being said I did not know this before listening to her podcast. I actually went back and watched Chris Soules season after listening to the first episode. The initial reason I started listening was because I saw that Grey’s Anatomy would be a part of it. However, as I continued to listen to each episode I began to realize that I could really relate to Becca. She is basically my spirit animal! So if you love me you will definitely love her and should go listen to her podcast! There is a new episode every Monday and you will not want to miss a single one. Every week Becca does a segment called, ask a guy where she will call a guy that she knows and ask them a question that girls are dying to know the answers to. I cannot get enough of this podcast and I hope you will like it as much as I do!

The next podcast I listen to weekly is Anna Faris is Unqualified. I know I have said this about the other two podcasts, but I am in love with this podcast too! Anna and her co-host Sim are hilarious! They play off of what the other says and it creates this magnificent show. There have been many times that I realized I probably looked insane to other drivers, because I was laughing so hard. This podcast does tend to be explicit at times, but that does not make it less amazing. My favorite thing to do is to listen to older episodes while I am driving to work or school. During the podcast Anna and Sim interview a special guest and it always is so wonderful! The next part of the podcast is where Anna and Sim will give a caller advice on whatever is going on that this person needs help with. I cannot say enough good things about this podcast! It is so great and you will be laughing throughout the whole thing!

The last podcast I am going to talk about is Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe. Kaitlyn Bristowe also was on the Bachelor during Chris Soules season, and returned to be the Bachelorette where she met her fiancé Shawn Booth. I just recently got into this podcast a couple months ago, and quickly became a fan. I was listening to it on the way to and from an appointment at ASU for my upcoming semester and was instantly pulled in. Not only do I enjoy listening to this podcast while driving I also listen to it while I am walking with baby P after dropping her sister off at school. On Off the Vine you will hear an interview with a special guest. During the interview she will play a game or two with them that she has created. It makes the interview more fun and I really enjoy hearing more about each guest through these games. Some of the guests she has had on are; Shawn Booth (her fiancé), Andi Dorfman, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, and Monica Ten-Kate. This podcast is so wonderful and you will not want to miss it! You may even become obsessed like me! I strongly encourage you to listen to this podcast when you have time.

If you could not tell from above I really do enjoy podcasts from people in the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise. I just listened to some of Ben and Ashely I Almost Famous tonight. I have yet to finish the episode, but I already love it! I will definitely let you all know what I think once I finish it, most likely tomorrow. This podcast is hosted by Ashley Iaconetti and Ben Higgins. They make this podcast a joy to listen to and I really look forward to listening to more episodes!

There are so many other podcasts that I love, these were just a few. I do use the app, Podcasts, on the iPhone to listen to all the podcasts I mentioned above. However, I will leave the links to each site below if you do not use and iPhone or any Apple products. What podcasts do you listen to? Leave a comment below telling me!

Favorite Blogs

Hey everyone! Today I am going to talk about some of my favorite blogs. One thing I do to keep track of all my favorite blogs is by keeping them on a folder on the home screen of my phone. I love how easy it is to access my favorite blogs. I have a variety of different types of blogs that I follow, and look forward to sharing some of them with you.

The first blog I’m going to talk about is Robertson Roots. Robertson Roots is a lifestyle blog ran by Jessica Robertson. Some of you may know Jessica from A&E’s Duck Dynasty. She also was in a spin off show, Jep and Jessica: Growing the Dynasty.  I first heard about her blog from listening to her podcast, Jep and Jess. I started following her blog and I absolutely love it! In fact, it was a big inspiration for my blog! On Robertson Roots you will see DIY projects, gardening, cooking, fashion, and her life as a mother. Not only does it have amazing posts, it also has such an amazing look! You will not regret following this blog!

The second blog I love is The Sweeter Side of Mommyhood. This blog belongs to Jacquie, a mother of four beautiful little girls!  Like Robertson Roots this is also a lifestyle blog where you will read about DIY projects, recipes, and different products that get the author through mom life! Jacquie truly amazes me and is 100% mom goals!  She just had her fourth daughter and still manages to post on her blog weekly if not daily. I first came across this blog when I saw that her daughter was going to be getting a cochlear implant. I followed the link on her Instagram page and read her daughter’s story. From there I moved on to her other posts and have not missed a post since! I highly recommend this to all moms out there. Even if you do not have children you should follow this blog!

The first blog I followed was Emily Maynard’s blog. I first saw Emily on The Bachelorette, and loved watching her season! Like the other two blogs I mentioned, this is a lifestyle blog. On her blog she writes about fashion, beauty, and her life as a wife and mother. She does not post as much, but her Instagram is filled with all sorts of amazing pictures of her life too! This is a wonderful blog and I highly recommend it!

The last blog I am going to talk about,Our Spina Bifida, is not like the other blogs. This blog follows life with a family who’s daughter has spina bifida. This family is an amazing family and they are very near and dear to my heart. They write about the surgery their daughter had and about life now. If you have questions about spina bifida or just want to read more about it, this is a must read!

These are just a few of my favorite blogs. There are so many great blogs that I did not mention that I would definitely recommend! I will link the blogs I mentioned below. What are some of your favorite blogs? Let me know in the comments!
